HISTORY

The company, MOGAN Machine Industry Inc., was founded in 1980 in Ankara by Idris Yamantürk.

The company's name was changed to MOGAN Investment Holding Inc.

Gürmat Energy Investment and Trade Ltd. Co. ("Gürmat Energy") was established.

Belen Electricity Production Inc. ("Belen Electricity") was established.

The name of Gürmat Energy was changed to Gürmat Electricity Production Inc. ("Gürmat Electricity").

Construction of Belen RES, with a total capacity of 30 MWe and an estimated annual production of 94,900,000 kWh/year, began within the boundaries of Hatay province, Belen district.

Belen RES (30 MW) started electricity production.
Gürmat Electricity's first power plant, Galip Hoca JES (47.40 MW), started electricity production.

Eolos Wind Energy Production Inc., the investor in Şenköy RES with a 26 MW wind turbine license in Hatay Şenköy, was acquired and included in the company.
The installed capacity of Belen RES was increased by 6 MW.

Towards the end of 2010, the idea of consolidating all energy production companies under the GÜRİŞ Group emerged. MOGAN Investment Holding Inc. was designated for this purpose, and the company name was changed to MOGAN Energy Investment Holding Inc.
Olgu Energy Investment Production and Trade Inc., the investor of Albay Çiğiltepe RES (formerly Dinar RES) with a 50 MW wind turbine license in Afyon Dinar, was acquired and included in the company.

Şenköy RES (27 MW) started electricity production.
Albay Çiğiltepe RES (16.10 MW) started electricity production.
Gürmat Electricity received the 'Energy Oscar' award at ICCI 2012 (International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference).

Derne Clean Energy Production Inc. ("Derne Energy") was acquired and included in the company. With this acquisition, the company became the new owner of the licenses for Kanije RES with a capacity of 48 MW in Edirne, Zeliha RES with a capacity of 15 MW in Kırklareli, and Fatma RES with a capacity of 70 MW in Muğla.
The installed capacity of Albay Çiğiltepe RES was increased by 62.10 MW.
The installed capacity of Belen RES was increased by 12 MW. Thus, the total installed capacity reached 48 MW.

The second unit of Efe II JES (22.5 MW), Turkey's largest geothermal power plant in terms of energy produced (Source: EPİAŞ Transparency Platform: https://seffaflik.epias.com.tr/transparency/production/actual-production/real-time-production.xhtml), started electricity production.
The installed capacity of Albay Çiğiltepe RES was increased by 36.80 MW.
The installed capacity of Şenköy RES was increased by 9 MW. Thus, the total installed capacity reached 36 MW.

Previously named Yuva Energy Investment and Trade Inc., Ulu Renewable Energy Production Inc. ("Ulu Energy") was acquired and included in the company.
Arpa HES (32.919 MW) owned by Pokut Electricity Production Inc. ("Pokut Electricity") was acquired and included in the company.
Kanije RES (6.4 MW) started electricity production.
Efe III (22.5 MW), Efe IV (22.5 MW), and Efe I JES (47.4 MW) started electricity production.

Akköy-Espiye HES (14.07 MW) located in Giresun/Espiye and Çermikler HES (25.78 MW) located in Sivas/Şarkışla were acquired and included in the company.
The installed capacity of Kanije RES was increased by 57.6 MW. Thus, the total installed capacity reached 64 MW.
Zeliha RES (25.6 MW) and Fatma RES (38.4 MW) started electricity production.
The installed capacity of Albay Çiğiltepe RES was increased by 57.75 MW.

Kocatepe RES, the investor of which was İzdem Energy Investment Production and Trade Inc. ("İzdem Energy"), was acquired and included in the company.
Efe VI JES (22.6 MW) started electricity production.
The installed capacity of Albay Çiğiltepe RES was increased by 27.5 MW. Thus, the total installed capacity of Albay Çiğiltepe RES, the fourth-largest wind energy plant in a single location in Turkey, reached 200.25 MW.
The installed capacity of Fatma RES was increased by 41.6 MW. Thus, the total installed capacity reached 80 MW.
Seyit Onbaşı RES (9.4 MW) owned by Ayvacık Electricity Production Inc. ("Ayvacık Electricity") was acquired and included in the company.

Efe VII JES (25 MW) started electricity production. Thus, the total installed capacity of the company's geothermal power plants reached 209.90 MW.

Kocatepe RES (48 MW) started electricity production.

The installed capacity of Kocatepe RES was increased by 52 MW. Thus, the total installed capacity reached 100 MW.
Efe VIII JES (25 MW) started electricity production in December 2020.
Ulu RES (7 MW) started electricity production in December 2020.

The installed capacity of Efe VIII JES was increased by 25 MW in December 2021. Thus, the total installed capacity reached 50 MW. The total installed capacity of the company's geothermal power plants reached 259.90 MW.
The installed capacity of Ulu RES was increased by 29.4 MW in November-December 2021.
85% of Gimak Energy Production Ltd. Co. ("Gimak Energy"), which owns Çeşmebaşı HES (8.6 MW), was transferred to the company.

The installed capacity of Ulu RES was increased by 8.4 MW in January 2022, 29.4 MW in June-August 2022, and 46.2 MW in September-December 2022. Thus, the total installed capacity reached 120.4 MW.

The installed capacity of Seyit Onbaşı RES was increased by 0.6 MWm/1 MWe in October 2023. Thus, the total installed capacity reached 10 MWm/10 MWe. The total installed capacity of the company reached 1,025.52 MW.
